This was our last performance for the season and probably my very last one:/ Many emotions began to overwhelm me as it was getting closer to our performance; the excitement from performing and just having fun, being nervous about performing in front of everyone, scared about trying not to mess up and disappoint my team + instructors, and also sad because it was our last performance.
Our group had been through so much this season. And us being a tiny group brought a lot of hardships, yet again I’m happy it was with them<3 “Tiny but mighty,” those words expressed us very well. Haha. But yeah they all made it all worth while with the non-stop laughs and fun times:D I’m really, really glad that we’ve came this far and it was time to end our season on a good note.
After our warm-up it was finally our turn to perform. The middle school helped with the mat as we waited on the side, excited and nervous.
“MIT Academy, is your guard ready?”(all of us sets) “You may take the floor in NCBA championships.” Oh, how we performed our ass and hearts on that floor:) the feeling was so good and to see our instructors on the stands smiling and tearing up was just the best. No matter what, we knew we performed our asses and had a good show. And winning Champs felt even more good, just knowing how all of our hard work had paid off. Oh yaaawp(:
